Westminster and Lambeth: Symbols of London

London is a city full of buildings, statues, and symbols that Londoners identify with and it doesn't hurt that they are vastly popular with the tourists. The State and The Church in this area of London are extremely intertwined because of the history of England. The Parliament building and the lion, symbols of the political system, and the enormous towers of Westminster Abbey, the symbol of the church, dominates the skyline and are some of the great landmarks of England.
